Recently, I made a decision for not only the betterment of myself but for the others around me that I needed to make some changes to my own personal way of doing and thinking about things.
I have used meditation to help myself when training in Martial Arts in the past but one thing I found was like
so many other things we have to make a daily decision to keep up certain practices to actually get the results we seek on a regular basis.
Are you the type of person that has tried many different things to get different results in your life?
Some of what you have tried may not even have been on purpose.
Ever find yourself thinking about things that you have wanted to do or change at some point? Yea...
I've been there to.... still am in many ways.
I've been to a lot of different places in the world and if there is one thing that I've learned its that getting away is good for you in more ways than one.
We go thru our lives sometimes day to day and don't always take the time to stop and smell the roses...
I know that because I've been there myself.I look back at a lot of the places I've been and the one thing I'm
glad of is the time I spent appreciating where I was at that time.
You could say the same of yourself, when is the last time that you decided to take a minute for yourself for the purpose of re-setting your mind. We all need a minute sometimes to re-set and it only makes sense that
we would do that if it helps us to the level it can.
I have seen what being non-stop and never being able to take a moment can do and I'm here to tell you that
if you don't make sure that you do you will never achieve the level of peace and meaning that we are meant
to acheive in life so I have found that taking some time before I reach breaking point is the only thing that
keeps me from losing it.
Sometimes though I don't take that time like I should and I can always feel myself reaching breaking point by
Here lately I do realize that I need to a lot more meditation time than I have allowed in the past and I have decided in the future soon that a local monastary would be the best place to attempt some serious meditation. But there are some other times and places that you can start an attempt at some peace of mind.
Its like going to the gym, if you don't do it much you wont get the results you want.
Self anillization is always tough ( I know only to well) but it is something that is nesessary if we are to progress in life.
My own journey sometimes is tough but I find that sometimes that means I have to go the extra mile and for the peace of mind that can be found if you take the time to find your center and re-evaluate yourself when you should. Are you ready to go to your next level? What will you do so those around you are part of the better side of your life? For me that means some time away soon to a location that will best suite me for some soul searching.
Just remember you don't have to go off to a distant land to make that happen but when things get to much
just make sure that you acknowledge that you do need a re-set and just take actions to make it happen.
Sooner or later you will thank yourself......
So will the ones around you....
